Scorpion Infotech is an MSME-registered software development firm based in Surat, Gujarat, India. The firm focuses on mobile application development, website development and custom software for businesses that need reliable, maintainable digital products rather than something that works once and then cannot be changed.
That narrowness is deliberate. A firm offering everything tends to be adequate at most of it, so we have kept the list short and stayed with projects we can carry properly from the first requirement through to release and the support that follows. When a request falls outside software development, we say so rather than taking the work and learning on somebody else’s budget.
Our approach combines practical engineering, modern development technologies and clear communication throughout the development lifecycle. In practice that means choosing tools that suit the problem, writing code another developer can pick up, and keeping you informed at each stage instead of only at the end.

How we work
The same method whether it is a single mobile app or a system three departments open every morning.
Most of the difficulty in a software project is not the code. It is agreeing what the software has to do, deciding what can wait, and keeping everyone informed while the work is under way. We spend real time on those three things before and during development, because a clear brief costs far less than a rebuild.
A written scope
Nothing starts until the requirement is written down: what it must do, who uses it, and what is explicitly in this phase rather than the next. You approve that document, and it stays the reference we both point at when a question comes up.
Deliberate technology choices
Frameworks, hosting and third-party services are chosen for the job in front of us and for whoever inherits it. No technology goes onto a project because it is new, or because we happened to want the practice.
Regular, plain updates
You hear what is done, what is underway and what is stuck, in plain language. Anything that moves the scope is raised the day it comes up rather than mentioned at handover.
Documentation and handover
You end up holding the source, the setup notes and the accounts it runs on. Another developer should be able to carry on without us — that remains true even when we stay on for maintenance, which is rather the point.

Three commitments that occasionally cost us a project, and are worth keeping anyway.
We will not quote before we understand the requirement
A figure produced in the first call is a guess with a decimal point on it. We ask questions first, and where part of the requirement is still open we say which part of the number depends on it, rather than burying the uncertainty in a total.
We will not commit to a date we have not planned for
A date comes from a plan with real tasks in it, not from whatever sounded encouraging on the phone. If something slips you hear while there is still time to decide what to do about it, which is the only moment the news is worth anything.
We will not hand over code nobody else can maintain
Code only its author can read is a liability dressed up as an asset. We take conventional structure, obvious naming and written notes over a clever shortcut that saves a week now and costs a month next year.
